Meeting and Event Postings

Hello folks,

Our book club begins next week Tuesday beginning 7:00 pm!

We will be working through each chapter of the Safe and Secure, Ontario Edition, resource monthly throughout the coming year. The first chapter/section is entitled: "Love is Not Enough"

It is a great resource to help us wrap our minds around future planning for our loved one and perhaps even ourselves. Future planning, planning for "after we are gone" or no longer have the capacity to keep up with the needs of our loved one(s) or ourselves, can be a difficult, emotional and even triggering conversation and too many of us are just not willing to go there.

According to a CIBC poll, roughly 52% of Canadians currently have a will in place. While 94% of people agree that a will is essential, actual completion rates lag significantly behind.

So you are not alone. Let's go there together.

We will take attendance and if you attend at least half of the 8 sessions, you will get a FREE hard copy of the resource at the completion of the series in June!
